The camera says it has no permission

The live camera preview is off until you turn it on in Settings → Live Camera Preview, and it needs camera access to run. If you said no earlier, the app cannot ask a second time — that is an iOS and Android rule, not ours. Turn it back on in your phone's own settings:

I took a photo and Memories is empty

Photos and clips are saved to your own photo library, not inside the app — which is why they survive an uninstall and why you can share them anywhere. The Memories screen needs permission to read that library in order to show them back to you.

If you granted limited photo access, the app can only see the pictures you specifically picked, so memories it saved may not appear. Grant full access, or add them to the selection:

A memory whose photo you later deleted in Photos disappears from the list too. That is deliberate — the app never keeps a second copy.

An unlock expired

Some extras are unlocked by watching a short ad rather than paying. They last a set time and then lapse; the app tells you which unlock you got and when it runs out, and you can always earn it again. Nothing is lost permanently and nothing was charged.

Was I charged for anything?

No. This app sells nothing. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no payment of any kind, so there is nothing to restore and no receipt to chase. If you see a charge attributed to it, it is not from us — contact the store.

Ads, and changing your mind about them

The app is free and paid for by ads. In the EEA and UK you were asked how your data may be used before any personalised ad was served, and you can change that answer whenever you like from Settings → Privacy Options inside the app.

On iPhone and iPad, Apple asks separately about tracking. That answer lives in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and the game plays exactly the same either way.

A prompt was wrong, broken or offensive

Email us the text of it. The decks are hand-written and we would rather fix one than have you put the phone down. You can also write your own in My Prompts, and turn any deck off entirely from the deck picker on the home screen.

Deleting what the app holds

Everything is stored on your own device — there are no accounts and no server. See how to delete your data for the full picture, including analytics and crash reports.
